  • Pacific Moonshine ~ a true love child born out of a Pandemic

    As they say, “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade,” or in this case “when life gives you a surplus of beer, make Moonshine”, so when COVID-19 hit Australian shores, we saw an opportunity to create some ‘sustainable’ magic with our friends and local craft brewing legends Stone & Wood. The result? ‘Pacific Moonshine’ – a clear and unusual spirit that was artfully distilled from kegs of Stone & Wood Pacific Ale.

    Following a highly successful small taster run of 650 bottles in May this year, we're proud to launch our first official batch of Shirl The Pearl, after the first offering sold-out within just one week. This new release of Cumquat Gin, inspired by a generational Brook family recipe, will now mark the start of an ongoing, annual seasonal release.

    Sydney Based Sales Rep/Botanical Adviser An exciting and diverse role has become available to join our expanding team in Sydney! We’re on the hunt for a permanent part-time sales merchandiser position (approx. 20-30 hours per week) with the view to develop into a full-time role. We are seeking a motivated individual, who loves Brookie’s Gin and is excited by the challenge of joining a growing, independent, family business.
  • It’s been a big month of awards for Brookie’s!

    Brookie’s Dry Gin, Slow Gin, Shirl The Pearl & Mac. have all taken home notable awards this month. Cape Byron Distillery is extending its awards shelf, within the past month we've taken home seven, yes seven, new awards for the Brookie’s range! The most recent achievement was Mac. by Brookie’s macadamia liqueur, awarded PLATINUM at the 2020 SIP Awards, the only internationally recognised consumer judging spirits competition. Catering to the opinions and palates of the discerning public, the SIP Awards presents a unique, spirit judging competition, unaffected by industry bias.
