    Brookie’s Byron Slow Gin has done it again, taking home both GOLD and BEST IN SHOW for Australian Gin at the 2020 USA Spirit Ratings. Ranked on quality of spirit, value, and packaging, the USA Spirit Ratings assess the product’s trade performance and consumer appeal with separate weighted scores given for each of the three categories.  
  • Pacific Moonshine ~ a true love child born out of a Pandemic

    As they say, “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade,” or in this case “when life gives you a surplus of beer, make Moonshine”, so when COVID-19 hit Australian shores, we saw an opportunity to create some ‘sustainable’ magic with our friends and local craft brewing legends Stone & Wood. The result? ‘Pacific Moonshine’ – a clear and unusual spirit that was artfully distilled from kegs of Stone & Wood Pacific Ale.

    Following a highly successful small taster run of 650 bottles in May this year, we're proud to launch our first official batch of Shirl The Pearl, after the first offering sold-out within just one week. This new release of Cumquat Gin, inspired by a generational Brook family recipe, will now mark the start of an ongoing, annual seasonal release.

    Raising funds for Melbourne’s hospitality industry to aid in the lockdown recovery After 112 days of lockdown, Melbourne flung open the doors of their cafes, bars, restaurants, and pubs as they were finally allowed to trade (somewhat close to) normal again. In a matter of minutes, restaurants and bars were booked out for weeks in advance. But while on the surface it seems the venues are flourishing, there's still a long road to recovery ahead.
